An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join a prestigious global consultancy’s Surrey-based team of 16 professionals.

The Building Surveyor Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will deliver a comprehensive range of building surveying services across both private and public sector projects. These include refurbishments and retrofit schemes, ensuring a varied and rewarding workload.

Working collaboratively within a diverse team, you will manage projects from inception to completion, oversee contract administration, and deliver first-class services to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Delivering the full suite of building surveying services for private and public sector clients.
2. Managing projects such as refurbishments and retrofit schemes from inception to completion.
3. Carrying out contract administration and project management tasks.
4. Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
5. Collaborating with team members to ensure project success.

The Ideal Building Surveyor will have

1. Qualifications: A RICS-accredited degree (essential); MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
2. Experience: A background in construction consultancy, with public sector experience advantageous.
3. Skills: Strong project management, contract administration, and written communication abilities.
4. Requirements: A UK driving license.
