Overview

Join our Building Science and Sustainability Team in Alberta as a Building Science Engineer / Senior Engineer at Pinchin.

We are seeking an experienced professional to perform building science investigations, design remediation strategies, conduct inspections, and deliver reports. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across Canada within a growing service line.

Responsibilities
  • Managing projects from start to finish, including field assessments and formulation of remediation strategies.
  • Preparing technical reports and recommendations.
  • Designing solutions and reviewing construction progress.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and acting as a Senior Reviewer.
  • Building client relationships and staying current with industry trends.
  • Leading project teams and mentoring staff in Alberta.
Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer designation (APEGA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in building science or project management.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency with industry software and building science concepts.
