Your Opportunity

Our Building Specialty Services group is seeking a Building Science Engineer. Your Key Responsibilities

1. Prepares proposals and establishes project financial budgets.
2. Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.).
3. Attends pre-construction meetings and documents discussions.
4. Reviews and reports on project mock-ups.
5. Performs periodic site visits and utilizes a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items.
6. Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.).
7. Manages and coordinates small and large projects.
8. Conducts business development to secure revenue-generating projects.
9. Client management.
10. Mentors junior staff.
11. Participates in continuing education.
12. Performs various office-related tasks.

Qualifications

8. Pursuing registration as a Professional Engineer is a plus.

Education and Experience

1. Degree in Engineering.
2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems.
