Position Overview

Responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of the site(s) to ensure a clean and safe environment for tenants, customers, contractors, and employees. Shift details: Mainly weekdays from 9-5, with occasional evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with tenants and contractors to maintain positive relationships.
  2. Conduct and document property inspections, including roof inspections.
  3. Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on building systems and structures.
  4. Ensure life safety systems are operational.
  5. Identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  6. Coordinate with contractors for quotes and work quality.
  7. Advise management on building inefficiencies.
  8. Address tenant maintenance inquiries.
  9. Assist with seasonal building needs.
  10. Perform basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
  11. Follow work procedures set by management.
  12. Manage work orders using Building Engines.
  13. Assist with purchase orders.
  14. Respond to emergency calls and after-hours work (approx. 1 week/month).
  15. Gather site-specific information for property management.
  16. Other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. 3-5 years relevant experience.
  2. Availability for rotating after-hours emergency response.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Building Engines.
  4. Experience in retail/commercial property maintenance preferred.
  5. BES I & II certification preferred.
  6. Customer service skills and professionalism.
  7. Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
  8. Experience with minor repairs and installations.
  9. Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks.
  10. Basic computer skills.
  11. G Level Driver’s License; Fall Protection certification preferred.
