What will you do?

You will be responsible for building maintenance and operations, including:

• Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems;
• Completing tenant service calls professionally, such as lighting and heating/cooling issues;
• Overseeing the appearance and safety of the property;
• Operating Building Automation and Security systems;
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions;
• Managing contractors and ensuring adherence to building guidelines;
• Communicating with Property Management regarding building and tenant issues;
• Assisting with projects and maintaining logs of maintenance activities.

Physical requirements include:

• Bending, twisting, crouching, climbing, and reaching;
• Moving and lifting heavy equipment and supplies;
• Walking, standing, and sitting, with minimal sitting involved.

What experience do you need?

We prefer candidates with:

• Experience in a commercial office or industrial environment;
• A valid driver's license;
• Knowledge of safety and fire codes and WHMIS procedures;
• Strong computer and communication skills.
