Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Building Operation Assistant to join their team in Kelowna B.C.!

This position works rotating days, 08:00 to 16:00.

What Will You Work On?

The Building Operations Assistant performs a variety of clerical and reception duties such as answering telephones; receiving, screening, and directing visitors and staff; performing fleet vehicle management functions, and booking meeting rooms.

The Building Operations Assistant is responsible for providing confidential administrative support to Managers by performing duties such as: data entry and word processing; preparing routine correspondence and reports; booking meeting rooms and conducting file searches. This position also ensures that technical systems and equipment are available for all CHSC offices, meeting rooms and workspaces; orders, disburses and maintains all office supply stocks; and implements and coordinates capital and minor equipment purchases as requested by Managers.

  3. Your Resume outlining one year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  4. A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
