CBRE in Canada is seeking a Building Mechanical Maintenance Person to maintain and support a portfolio of properties, ensuring safe, comfortable and efficient environments for occupants. This hands-on role focuses on reliable building system performance and proactive maintenance.
You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, fire and security systems, respond to emergencies, and assist with budgeting and planning. The position is unionized, full-time, with benefits after onboarding.
As a Building Mechanical Maintenance Person (BMMP), you will play an important role in keeping our buildings running smoothly by ensuring high-quality maintenance and skilled trade support services are delivered across a portfolio of leased and owned properties. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help create safe, comfortable, and efficient environments for building occupants while contributing to the overall performance and reliability of building systems.
“The successful candidate will be required to attain and maintain a valid and active RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (ERSC). Please note, a condition for attaining an Enhanced Reliability Security (ERS) clearance includes the condition that applicants must have lived in Canada a minimum of five years to apply for ERS.”

This is a unionized role with the BCGEU governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a 35 hour per week position and the rate of pay for this role is $37.08/hour. This position is eligible for participation in the Public Service Pension Plan and Extended Health and Dental benefits after 6 months of service.
