As a Building Inspector/Plan Checker, you will examine plans and authorize construction for various projects, ensuring compliance with BC Building Codes and City approved subdivision bylaws and guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in customer service, conflict resolution, and use a balanced approach and mature judgment in decision making.
Testing may be required. If no fully qualified candidates apply, those not fully qualified may be considered for a training opportunity. Training rates will apply.
