Job summary

You will participate in the design of plans, conduct surveys, and assist in the engineering of projects across various sectors. Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ relevant experience.
  • ASP Construction card (asset).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the electrical design of the building, including AGI32 calculations.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in work supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with norms and standards for drawings and models.

Skills

Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations
Proficiency in spoken and written French
Good command of REVIT and AutoCAD software

Education

Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in a field related to electricity

Job Description

CIMA+ is looking for a technician to join our building electricity team in Sept‑îles. At the heart of building electrical projects, this role will require you to participate in the design of plans and models, carry out surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional and hospital sectors. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and to be part of a team of engineers, technicians and draftspersons undertaking challenging projects, while evolving in a passionate team where initiative and trust are strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the electrical design of the building, such as electrical distribution, lighting, including AGI32 calculations, fire alarms, etc.
  • Carry out field surveys and plan surveys
  • Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software
  • Ensure compliance with norms and standards for drawings and models
  • Conduct site visits and participate in certain stages of work supervision
  • Participate in calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer.
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations
  • Minimum three years’ relevant experience
  • Good command of REVIT and AutoCAD software
  • Knowledge of AGI 32 lighting calculation software (asset)
