Job summary

Assek Technologies in Lévis, QC is seeking a Building Drying Technician (Post-Loss, Non-Destructive) to deploy and adapt our drying technologies after loss events. You may work solo, with a partner, or in a team, and you will explain processes to clients on-site to reassure them.

No post-loss experience is required as we provide comprehensive training; a valid driver’s license is an asset and you should be in good physical condition with strong interpersonal skills.

Building Drying Technician (Post-Loss, Non-Destructive)

WHAT YOUR DAYS LOOK LIKE

• Deploy and adapt our building-drying technologies during post-loss interventions.
• Work independently, with a partner, or as part of a team.
• Explain what you are doing to clients on site in plain language, so they feel reassured.

• Between emergencies, prepare equipment for the next assignment.
• At the office: training and involvement in R&D projects.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• No post-loss experience is required. Our processes are unique, and we provide complete A-to-Z training.
• A valid driver's licence is an asset.
• Resourcefulness and attention to detail: you follow a precise protocol while adapting when circumstances change.
• Good physical condition to handle our equipment safely.
• Strong interpersonal skills: you are often the first person from Assek a client meets.
• Manual or technical aptitude in construction, renovation, installation, mechanics, building maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.

WHAT WE OFFER

• $23 to $26 per hour, based on experience.
• Approximately $56,690 to $63,830 per year in total, including bonuses and overtime.
• An annual performance bonus in addition to your salary.
• 40 hours per week guaranteed year-round.
• Time-and-a-half overtime, approximately 200 hours per year.
• A $75 on-call premium per weekend, one weekend out of two.
• An FTQ Solidarity Fund RRSP through payroll deduction, including the 30% tax credits.
• At least two weeks of vacation upon hire, more depending on experience, plus two personal days.
• Work clothing provided and a cell phone allowance.
• A modern, well-maintained truck when you are on the road.
