Greatway Financial Inc is seeking a Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor for an on-site role in Brooks, AB. You will hire, train and supervise cleaning staff, coordinate with other departments and ensure safety and cleanliness standards across the facility.

The position entails budgeting, arranging for maintenance or repairs, and overseeing equipment and furnishings. This permanent full-time role offers health and financial benefits and a competitive hourly wage of 25.24 CAD.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
• No degree, certificate or diploma.
• On site work at the Brooks location.

Responsabilités

• Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
• Assist cleaners in performing duties.
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
• Establish work schedules.
• Arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
• Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
• Replace parts as required.
• Supervision of Janitors, caretakers and building superintendents.
