Job summary

Kelso Building Services is seeking a Building Automation Solutions Consultant to expand our commercial and institutional market in Ontario. You will identify client challenges, recommend automation and controls solutions, and develop long-term relationships with facilities teams.

The role blends technical understanding with consultative sales, requiring strong communication, site assessments, proposals, and contract support to drive value for customers and project delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of sales experience within building automation, controls, HVAC, energy services, or related markets.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business and exceeding sales goals.
• Experience leading consultative sales conversations and solution-based engagements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across assigned accounts and target markets.
• Build strategic relationships with facility directors, building owners, engineers, contractors, and operations leaders.
• Develop territory plans to support sustained sales growth and participate in industry events to expand market awareness.
• Present operational, financial, and energy-related benefits to stakeholders and guide contract discussions.
