Structural Truss Systems in Fort Macleod, AB is hiring a Builder/General Labourer for our Wall Shop. The role is permanent and full-time, with a Monday to Friday schedule. You will assemble walls, review layouts, and use hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate reads truss layouts, uses basic measuring tools, and works well in a team. We offer competitive pay, cross-training, benefits, RRSP, and year-round work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand truss layout designs.

• Ability to lift and work with equipment on jigs and in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble walls accurately according to layout designs and instructions.
• Review wall layouts and inspect pre-cut lumber for quality and accuracy.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete builds.
• Keep workstations organized and clean, and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Perform routine maintenance and report tool or machine issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures to perform work safely.
• Help keep the shop running smoothly with other duties as assigned

Structural Truss Systems specializes in the design, manufacturing, and transportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for everysize of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of a manufacturing facility inFort MacLeod, AB, just 25 minutes west ofLethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Structural Truss Systems facility in Fort Macleod, AB.

Role: Builder/GeneralLabourer, Wall Shop

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

WorkSchedule: Monday to Friday

As a Builder, you will:

• Assemblewalls accurately according to layout designs and instructions
• Reviewwalls layouts and inspect pre-cut lumber for quality and accuracy

Our Builders have:

• Ability to read and understand truss layoutdesigns

• Ability to be lifting, hammering, and workingon jigs throughout the day
• Basic math skills and ability to use bothimperial and metric measuring tapes
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work aspartof a team
• Physical ability to perform their job safely(lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand, walk, bend for fullshift)
• Aptitude to work in a manufacturingenvironment
