The Opportunity:

As part of the Refinity Homes team, you'll be at the forefront of the proptech revolution, working alongside a dynamic group of professionals with backgrounds from leading technology firms and real estate conglomerates. Our goal is to scale, setting the stage for a strategic acquisition. This role is pivotal in driving our operational excellence, optimizing our product offerings, and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a fast-evolving market. We are a scrappy, early-stage startup with lots of room for building process and strategy from Day 1.

Role Summary:

Join our team at Refinity Homes as a dynamic Brokerage Manager overseeing residential property management operations in Greater Vancouver. Drive innovation, deliver exceptional service, and impact the industry. Manage office and field operations, engage with customers, screen applicants, coordinate tenant requests, and support operational tasks. Prepare homes, conduct property tours, and contribute to expanding our new service, "Refinity Pro." Expect local travel and a fast-paced work environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Develop and refine cutting-edge property management policies and procedures.

• Cultivate positive tenant relationships and address concerns promptly.

• Completing detailed checks, site-visits and ensuring homes are perfect for move-ins.

• Negotiate lease agreements and manage financial aspects of properties.

• Cultivating and developing owner, residents, and vendor relationships

• Provide administrative duties including multitasks to the day-to-day management and operation of properties

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance property performance.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

• Self-Motivated - you’re able to work with minimal supervision while always on time and responsive

• Fast-Paced – Roll with the punches - priorities and schedules change quickly and you are can keep up

• Detail-Oriented – you have extremely high attention to detail and ability to ensure completion of tasks, with exceptional time management, task organization, and prioritization

• Client Services– you work in service or hospitality and deliver 5-star customer service

• Go-Getter – you roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get things done and learn quickly

• Humble - you’re open to feedback and have a good attitude regardless of the situation

• High EQ (Street Smarts) – you have a strong sense of customer-centricity, empathy, and kindness

What You've Done:

• Valid Broker's license for Property Management in BC [REQUIRED]

• Strong understanding of property management laws and regulations [REQUIRED]

• Reliable transportation, a valid BC Driver's License, and proof of insurance [REQUIRED]

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively

• Proficiency in property management software and tools

• Excellent on the phone/verbal and written communication skills

• 2 years of experience in customer service, handling questions and solving concerns
