Job summary

Primus Workforce seeks a Site Technician to monitor and operate salt/brine processing facilities. You will collect brine samples, log data, and help with equipment maintenance in a regulated industrial environment near Regina. This full-time, rotating shift role requires strong mechanical skills and steady attention to safety.

You will work with the site team to ensure accurate testing, data records, and compliant operations, including occasional overtime and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and mechanical aptitude for industrial settings.
• Experience with brine systems or process testing is an asset.
• Familiarity with HMI or production software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate brine processing and mining systems within defined parameter ranges.
• Monitor and record flow, temperature, pressure, and volumes.
• Collect, analyze, and log brine samples per protocols.
• Assist with offloading salt to storage silos and follow procedures.
• Identify and report issues to the Supervisor promptly.
• Support lockout/tagout and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices on site.
• Drive to deliver samples or pick up supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with site team and perform other duties as assigned.
