• 1+ years of experience in condition/construction inspections on bridges.
• Valid BC Driver’s License required.
• Familiarity with bridge inspection systems is an asset.

Job description

• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution OR 5+ years of direct field experience
• 1+ year / s of experience completing condition inspections / construction inspections on bridges and transportation structures OR 2+ years of experience as a field / site engineer. Strong communication and organization skills, including report writing
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word (required)
• Familiarity working with database software is an asset.
• Familiarity with bridge inspection and management systems which may include British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructures BMIS, Alberta Infrastructures BIMS, and Ministry of Transportation Ontario OSIM is an asset.
• Fast learner with a desire to grow professionally and personally.
• Committed team player with ability to work independently with minimum direction when required.
• Shows close attention to detail and take pride in your work, both for large and small sized projects.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Valid BC Driver’s License

The salary range for this position is $66,560.00 to $99,840.00, and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.
