Job summary

Associated Engineering in Calgary seeks an experienced Bridge Construction Inspector to join the team. You will perform construction inspection and administration for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge construction, supporting quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Travel throughout Alberta will be required. A Civil Engineering Diploma and 10+ years of experience are expected, with strong communication and organizational skills to thrive in a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Diploma from an accredited technical institute.
• 10+ years of experience in bridge construction/inspection or related field.
• Strong communication skills with clients and teams.
• Superior planning and organizational skills for project delivery.
• Consulting experience is an asset; Alberta Transportation/City of Calgary exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction inspection and construction administration services for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge construction.
• Support quality control and safety compliance on bridge projects in Calgary and across Alberta.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and field staff to ensure project milestones are met.
