Job summary

CBCL Limited is seeking a Structural Bridge Drafting Technologist to join our bridge design team. The role is based in Fredericton, NB, with potential involvement in projects across Atlantic Canada.

You will produce detailed bridge drawings and support design through drafting, calculations, and coordination with engineers. You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfraWorks to deliver accurate structural documents and support field data collection, inspections, and tender documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D and InfraWorks is a plus.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and detailing of new and rehabilitated bridge structures.
• Create detailed structural drawings for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber bridges.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams on design concepts.
• Assist field investigations and contribute to bridge inspection reports.
