WSP Canada invites an experienced Bridge Engineer to lead designs of bridges, culverts, and walls, while directing inspections and rehabilitation strategies. You will coordinate major projects and prepare specifications for successful delivery, mentoring teams and strengthening client relationships across Canada.

Base in Alberta with opportunities to work on dispersed teams; you should hold a Civil Engineering degree and a P.Eng.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on bridge structures.
• Eligible for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence in Alberta.
• 10+ years of experience in detailed bridge design and project management.
• Proven ability to support transportation and bridge projects in Canada and work with dispersed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of CAN/CSA-S6 design codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as CSIBridge and MIDAS.
• Expertise in planning, design, and construction of bridges with standard and complex geometry.
• Strong leadership to guide teams and manage client relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
• Lead inspections, assessments, and rehabilitation strategies for existing structures.
• Provide project coordination and management for standard and major bridge projects.
• Prepare specifications, tender documents, and cost estimates for delivery.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Mentor and inspire technical teams to achieve excellence in project delivery.
• Build client relationships and contribute to proposal development for future projects.
