Job Summary

The Screening Program Clerk III is responsible for performing a variety of clerical administrative tasks including data entry, supporting clients’ in accessing cancer screening services, appointment management, and reception duties for the CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) Screening Programs in an efficient and effective manner

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program or equivalent. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the internet
  • Demonstrated data entry speed and accuracy of 10,000 keystrokes per hour (45 WPM), with less than 1% error rate.

An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience with electronic patient charts (EMR) and electronic information data systems
  • Knowledge of population health and Cancer Screening Programs.
  • Experience working in Screening Programs.

  • Must have satisfactory employment record
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Ability to speak French
