Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Breakfast Cook to join our dynamic team. This position is a FULL TIME role. You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.

What You Need to Bring / Qualifications
  • You are an experienced cook (Red Seal is a strong asset as well as a Food Safe certificate) who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.
  • FIRST COOK duties include portioning, preparing, tasting, seasoning and cooking menu items using appropriate methods. Knowledge of butchery and pastry making is desirable. Ability to coordinate staff, manage inventory and materials, and maintain a clean kitchen according to company standards.
  • Support the Chef in the execution of daily activities for the client contract regarding all food service offerings and the à la carte menu. Prepare general food production, cooking, serving, and other assigned tasks. Follow Sodexo programs: Food Safety, Health and Safety, Policies and Procedures, and Marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Strong planning, organizational and time management skills. Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Red Seal is an asset.
  • Cook must be able to cook Indian cuisine.
