Psychiatric Center is seeking a general Psychiatrist with interest or experience in geriatrics and chemical dependency to join their hospital. This is an employed hospital-based position with all inpatient work, including H&P’s of patients not assigned to a specific provider. The physician will act as the attending for all the Coliseum’s outpatient programs as well as the “Telehealth Consults” from area nursing homes, physician practices, or ERs. Traditional office hours Monday through Friday, with Wednesday offering a short day. Facility call 1:8. Psychiatric Center is offering the incoming physician a competitive salary and benefits package with malpractice practice and relocation allowance (where applicable). Currently, the Center has 14 senior beds and 20 general/adult beds; however with recent and future expansion of the hospital, by the end of 2010 they will have increased to 17 senior and 34 general/adult beds.
