Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will lead execution of Yoto’s social and influencer strategy in Canada. This role balances hands-on delivery with campaign oversight, agency coordination, and team alignment. It combines content development, community management, influencer campaign execution, and reporting. The Coordinator will serve as the key CA contact for global leads and ensure all social and influencer activity drives brand awareness, family acquisition, and revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing
Content creation and calendar management
- Own the CA social content calendar, including planning, briefing, and localisation.
- This will feed into global and NA socials with the potential for CA-specific channels in the future.
- Own the ideation and briefing process for CA-specific content—develop creative concepts, brief the design team, and collaborate with local content creators to deliver market-relevant assets.
Channel and community management
- Manage daily posting, story reposting, and UGC curation.
- Respond to comments in brand tone and escalate customer issues to the customer happiness team.
- Work with global social leads on complex responses.
Influencer marketing
- Own the campaign briefing process with objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Identify, vet, and contract influencers with support from the global team.
- Lead outreach, negotiation, and content briefing.
- Review content for quality, compliance, and brand fit.
- Monitor go-live posts and performance, resolving issues quickly.
- Track and share campaign metrics including CPM, impressions, engagement, CTR, CVR, and revenue.
General Marketing support
- Support CA product launches and market-specific campaigns.
- Manage CA marketing calendar and event planning.
- Process CA vendor invoices and manage the relevant portions of the US budget including monthly reconciliation.
- Provide insights on CA market trends and opportunities.
Collaboration and reporting
- Work with global paid media teams to align organic and paid content.
- Share performance reports quarterly.
- Surface competitor and market insights.
What you’ll bring
- At least 2 years experience either brand or agency side in a similar role, focusing on the Canadian market.
- A self-starter, clear communicator and a fast learner.
- A strategic and creative thinker.
- Works well with cross-functional teams across different timezones and fosters a collaborative environment within the marketing team.
- Able to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and company priorities.
- Focused on achieving measurable outcomes and meeting ambitious targets.
- Comfortable with the ambiguity of working in a fast paced scaleup environment.
Salary
CAD$90,000 – CAD$100,000 based on experience.
