As Brand Manager, you will lead, develop strategies, and execute brand initiatives. You will be the primary expert on the brand, understanding all facets by retailer and geography, and uphold the brand strategy and integrity. This role is with a forward-thinking, fast-paced food production company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Brand & Category Leadership: Be the expert on your category and brands, developing strong partnerships internally to influence strategic direction.
  2. Develop Brand Growth Strategies: Create long and short-term strategies to grow your brands in a competitive marketplace.
  3. Track Market Performance & Brand Equity: Use market data and brand tracking to measure performance against objectives, collaborating on campaign execution across media.
  4. Innovation Pipeline: Develop a pipeline leveraging consumer insights, trends, and identifying opportunities, especially in retail channels.
  5. Project Management: Support cross-functional commercialization of product launches and renovations from concept to market execution.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with agency partners and internal teams including retail and field sales.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Communications or relevant field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Brand Marketing
  • Self-motivated with high energy and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to navigate organizational complexity and collaborate effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of syndicated data, consumer insights, and market results
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Some travel (10%) within Canada
  • Minimum 3 days/week on-site at Head Office with flexibility
