Role description: Role is designed to support Marketing Manager of Heineken Canada, drive growth of Heineken portfolio by developing strong plans and implementing high-class marketing tools and practices.
Target Annual Compensation range: CAD 84,000 - 95,000 (plus incentive and benefits)
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy and Portfolio Planning
- In conjunction with Molson Coors support Marketing Manager in development of strategic direction for Heineken portfolio:
- Analyze market trends and Heineken performance to identify gaps and opportunities for Portfolio & Brands
- In coordination with Molson to propose strategy to drive the performance of Heineken brands
- Coordinate the work between Molson Coors, Creative, Media and PR agencies to ensure strong collaboration and broad team alignment behind the plans
- Coordinate the alignment of the plans with Management (Heineken Canada, Molson) as well as with Global teams
- Drive Media Planning in line with Heineken Media excellence guidelines
- Ensure timely and high quality implementation of agreed Brand Plans
- Coordinate the work of Molson Coors, Creative and Media teams
- Support the delivery of assets to be put on air in line with agreed Media Plans and activations calendar
- Make sure the fulfilment of existing Brand Guidelines for the Global Brands and require respective derogations/ approvals if necessary
- Public Relations:
- In conjunction with MCC brand team, PR & agencies, develop innovative and impactful Public Relations ideas and activations for respective Brands
- Brand Experiences and Activations:
- In conjunction with Molson to develop strong BTL and Trade activations plan for respective brands
- Drive creativity and efficiency throughout BTL and Trade programs to ensure maximum volume uplifts, consumer & customers engagement
- Day-to-day support of BTL & Activation plan implementation, including coordination of Creative, BTL agencies, Trade Team
- Support team in obtaining necessary Global approvals and/ or derogations
- Innovations:
- Assess and identify opportunities for innovations
- Involve and align Molson team around the opportunity
- Coordinate Innovation process from commercial side:
- Ensure the alignments,
- Control key milestones,
- Ensure 360 commercial assessment of innovations including financial implications, portfolio implications, launch plan, necessary investments and incremental potential

Background / Experiences:
- University graduate, MBA or post graduate
- 5+ years of work experience gained within various commercial and marketing functions
- Strong leadership skills with a broad range of stakeholders and management of these stakeholders from a consumer, channel and business perspective
- Commercial experience with key customers, vendors and partners
