About the Role

Join our team as a Brand Ambassador to represent Olivieri at 3 tradeshows across Toronto. You’ll play a key role in preparing and serving samples of Olivieri Skillet Gnocchi while engaging with event attendees and promoting the brand's key messaging.

Location: Toronto

  1. The Outdoor Adventure Show - Feb 21-23
  2. The Baby Show - April 12-13
  3. The National Women's Show - November 21-23

Position Type: Part-Time, Event-Based

Responsibilities

  • Cooking & Sampling: Heat up Olivieri Skillet Gnocchi on a skillet onsite and serve fresh samples to guests.
  • Engagement & Messaging: Interact with attendees, deliver key messaging about the product, and guide them to the recipe website.
  • Setup & Teardown: Assist with setting up the booth, organizing the sampling station, and tearing down after events.
  • Coupon Distribution: Hand out coupons to attendees and encourage product trial.
  • KPI Tracking: Record key metrics such as samples served, attendee feedback, and engagement levels.
  • Team Leadership (for TL role): Act as the Team Leader for your market, managing schedules and ensuring smooth event execution.

Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience in hospitality or food handling is required. BA experience with cooking or food sampling is an asset.
  • Food Safety: A valid Food Handler's license is preferred.
  • Cooking Skills: Comfortable cooking and preparing food in a similar setting or restaurant.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shift times. Weekend shifts will be 6-8 hours, with shorter shifts on Fridays.
  • Transportation: Reliable access to event locations.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for setup and teardown.

Additional Information

  • 1-2 Brand Ambassadors will manage the skillet and product at all times to ensure smooth operation and cover breaks.
  • A capable Team Leader (TL) will be selected for each market to commit to all event dates.
