Job summary

POP MART Americas Inc. in Alberta seeks an energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our Fairview Mall location. You will be the brand ambassador, delivering exceptional service, sharing POP MART's story, and guiding customers through our world of designer toys and collectibles.

You will support daily store operations, merchandising, inventory, and keep the environment welcoming. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing retail, hospitality, or service industry experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse customers.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by warmly welcoming every guest and building authentic customer relationships.
• Become a brand ambassador by confidently sharing POP MART's story, artist collaborations, collectible characters, product collections, promotions, and membership program.
• Educate customers on our collectible culture, including Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, accessories, limited editions, and new product launches.
• Drive sales by identifying customer needs, making personalized product recommendations, upselling complementary merchandise, and achieving individual and store sales goals.
• Accurately process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and loyalty transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with receiving shipments, replenishing merchandise, organizing inventory, and maintaining stockroom accuracy.
• Maintain exceptional store presentation by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the sales floor and backroom.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily sales goals, operational objectives, and an outstanding customer experience.
• Cross-train to support POP MART Robo Shop (vending machine) replenishment and inventory processes as business needs require.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention standards.
