Job summary

Brand Momentum is seeking an energetic In-Store Product Sampler / Brand Ambassador to support a Big box re-opening event at Walmart Supercenter #3128 in Temiskaming Shores, ON. The role is part-time, contract, with a single event date and a pre-event training session conducted virtually.

You will manage setup, engage shoppers, run product demos, and distribute prizes, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth logistics and responsible use of the company card.

Qualifications

• Access to a vehicle is an asset but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• Ability to confidently engage with diverse groups of people.
• Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and able to manage responsibilities independently.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs for setup and cleanup duties.
• Must have reliable transportation to the event location.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a PLINKO board game, engaging with customers while they play.
• Distribute prizes and create a fun, welcoming environment for attendees.
• Kit prizes prior to the event, following provided guidelines.
• Manage the activation setup and cleanup process independently.
• Ensure smooth and engaging interactions with shoppers to enhance their experience.
• Use a company card to activate and purchase necessary items for the event
• Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct in-store sampling events highlighting featured products.
• Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, providing product information and encouraging purchases.
• Product Knowledge: Understand the brands and products to communicate their benefits effectively.

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support an exciting and engaging Big box re-opening event. This event is designed to thank big box shoppers for their loyalty during the store's construction period.

Date

Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Activation: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2-hour setup + 1-hour teardown)

Training

Tuesday October 20th 2026, Time: Virtual Training at 1pm EDT
