As a Physiotherapist Lead at our clinic at The Ottawa Hospital you’ll have all the tools and resources you need to grow your practice and develop your skills. Our new build clinic will allow for a career growth focused on brand relationship with the hospital staff, such as being CBI Health’s Ambassador at The Ottawa Hospital Wellness events. This wonderful opportunity will also give you the chance to work with physicians, participate in innovative projects, while providing service to hospital employees in occasions such as staff appreciation events and others. Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
  • Regular social activitieswith the team
  • Monthly clinical trainingon topics chosen by our team. The training is facilitated by our Learning and Development team and /or external specialists. Examples of training topics offered this year: Long COVID, traumatic brain injury
  • Networkingwith senior clinicians.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, directed towards maintaining and enhancing their physical abilities, lifestyle and well-being
  • Be responsible for managing and prioritizing clinical caseloads, and for the coordination and delivery of therapeutic services
  • Participate in a collaborative care model providing holistic, comprehensive care to meet the needs of clients
  • Promote positive relationships between clients, team members, funders and the community
What you need to be successful
  • You are a graduate of a recognized School of Physiotherapy
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Passion about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
  • A strong client-centeredapproach
