Overview

Brand Ambassador (On-Call) (French Services)

We are seeking brand ambassadors in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta who will support the Marketing & Communications team in organizing and hosting Radio-Canada brand activations and community events and help forge strong emotional connections with our audience.

Position Title : Brand Ambassador (On-Call) (French Services)

Status of Employment : Temporary Short-Term (Fixed Term)

Work Location : Primary Location: 123 Edmonton City Centre, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 2Y8; also serving Calgary, Alberta

Language Skills : Fluently bilingual: French and English

Role overview : Provide support for marketing and communications activities, both in-house and off-site. Organize and host Radio-Canada brand activations and community events and help forge strong connections with the audience. The list of key tasks is not exhaustive and may be adjusted when candidates are hired.

Responsibilities
  • Support the team in developing and operationalizing outreach activities and partnerships.
  • Assist the senior officer with project planning and execution.
  • Coordinate project logistics.
  • Guide programming and technical teams in developing specials and remotes in connection with outreach activities and partnerships.
  • Take part in off-site activities to promote Radio-Canada, primarily to a French-speaking audience.
  • Prepare, transport and set up equipment on the site.
  • Hand out promotional material.
  • Interact with participants and passers-by, providing information about the Corporation and its programming. A solid command of English is essential to engage with English-speaking attendees during the event.
  • Create a memorable experience for Canadians to connect them with the brand.
  • Analyze the results of activities by producing reports and compiling statistics on audience and staff feedback.
  • Create databases and update their content; keep records and archives about programs, outreach experiences and partnerships, including bios and photographs.
  • Field inquiries, locate requested information and respond to audience and staff comments and feedback.
Notes

These are part-time on-call positions. Candidates may be included in an on-call talent pool for future assignments.
