Job Title: Brand Ambassador (Event Activation Specialist)

Location: Walmart - 6375 50 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4P 1L9

Rate: Starting at $24/HR

Job Type: Part-time, Contract (1-day event)

Date: Saturday, April 12th, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (inclusive of setup and cleanup)

Training: Virtual training session on Wednesday, April 9th, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST (paid training).

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support an exciting and engaging Walmart re-opening event. This event is designed to thank Walmart shoppers for their loyalty during the store's construction period.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate a PLINKO board game, engaging with customers while they play.
2. Distribute prizes and create a fun, welcoming environment for attendees.
3. Kit prizes prior to the event, following provided guidelines.
4. Manage the activation setup and cleanup process independently.
5. Ensure smooth and engaging interactions with Walmart shoppers to enhance their experience.
6. Use a company card to activate and purchase necessary items for the event.

Requirements

1. Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
2. Ability to confidently engage with diverse groups of people.
3. Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
4. Reliable and able to manage responsibilities independently.
5. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs for setup and cleanup duties.
6. Must have reliable transportation to the event location.
