Our amazing Brand Ambassadors outside of Righteous HQ - are the faces of Righteous and own Calgary events & experiences, telling the Righteous story and enriching people’s lives one tiny spoonful at a time!

YOUR MISSION

Our Brand Ambassadors create the Righteous experience for every fan by being the first glimpse of the brand and sharing our story. The hands-on experiences at our Google-meets-Willy-Wonka HQ is the first impression of the Righteous factory, and sometimes the first impression of the brand - the perfect opportunity to share your passion and get fans excited about us! You’ll lead Gelato Academies & Tours/Tastings as well as execute awesome off-site activations and events.

Each interaction is a chance to share a bit about who we are, what our product is, and what we do for the community! Your daily tasks and requirements are easy to learn and perform daily. It’s HOW you do them that makes all the difference, and sets Righteous apart.

WHO AREYOU?

• You’re a passionate Brand Ambassador! You resonate deeply with the Righteous Brand and Mission, and can’t wait to share the #gelatolove.
• You can’t wait to learn how to make gelato, and how to teach others to make their dream flavour.
• You’re an effective communicator and value strong relationships - genuinely a fan of other humans.
• You’ve got infectious positive energy, an outstanding work ethic and pride in everything you touch.
• You’re flexible to work different shifts - including evenings, weekends and occasional early mornings.
• You have a valid driver's license for driving Bambino (the mini gelato truck), a clean record and access to a reliable vehicle every shift.
• You have a cell phone.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs and you’re able to be on your feet for the duration of your shifts.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver on the Ten Things that Require Zero Talent: Being on time, work ethic, effort, body language, attitude, passion, being coachable, doing extra, being prepared.
• Provide amazing experiences including culture tours of the facility and Gelato Academies
• Maintain a strong understanding of product knowledge, ingredients and allergens (we’ll teach you!)
• Share our story to a variety of audiences in a compelling way in different settings which includes sharing our brand story and culture to fans, community members, and partners at Righteous HQ and at various events in the community.
• Follow Righteous Good Manufacturing and Hygiene Practices and Food Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Serve fans by scooping gelato and amazing coffee based beverages as needed.
• Answer any questions about our product, culture, history and brand.
• Maintain extreme cleanliness of the café and officina.
• Embody the Righteous Spirit and create loyal fans through their experience.
• Inventory management of all items in the cafe: gelato, supplies, swag, service and espresso bar items.
• Preparation and execution of off-site brand events and activations including set up and take down, and taking care of our assets (like Food Trucks!) like they’re your own.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

THE MUST HAVES - KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Exceptional Customer Service.
• Strong communication skills - including basic math, reading and writing.
