The Opportunity:

The Branch Support position is responsible for a variety of tasks both inside and outside. These duties include yard operations such as conducting daily site inspections, tracking inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe worksite for all employees. The role also involves customer interaction by assisting at the counter and on the phone with sales transactions, inquiries, payments, and product questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front-end reception, customer service, and support
  • Process customer billing using Infosys
  • Handle lube ordering and inventory control
  • Coordinate planning and dispatch through AWE and GeoTab systems
  • Order and maintain plant fuel levels based on requirements
  • Manage HSE training, records, and safety meetings
  • Maintain employee files, documents, and fleet maintenance schedules
  • Conduct daily plant and cardlock inspections
  • Order and control inventory for ancillary items (pumps, tanks, hoses, etc.)
  • Manage tank monitors and asset tracking

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of previous office experience is an asset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a passion for customer service
  • Intermediate experience with computer programs such as Excel and Word
  • Safety-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working outdoors as required to assist customers
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs
  • The ability to apply safety skills to any situation
  • Previous WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, and Spill Response training is an asset
  • Experience with internal billing system applications is considered an asset
