Job summary

Parkland Corporation’s Dartmouth branch is seeking a Branch Representative to support day-to-day branch customer-facing operations, lubricant & wet stock inventory, inside sales and completing branch administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include front counter service, order taking and payments, inside sales follow-up, inventory management, and monthly reporting, with adherence to HSE standards. Some weekend hours may be required and a clean driver’s abstract is essential.

Qualifications

  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude or related work experience in Petroleum/Propane is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team and customer-facing role.
  • Willing to take on a diversified role and be flexible to business needs.
  • Some weekend hours may be required.
  • Clean driver’s abstract is required.
  • Self-starter with limited supervision.
  • Solid understanding of safe work practices and HSE requirements.
  • WHIMIS and TDG knowledge or experience preferred.

  • Support lubricant warehouse inventory management, maintenance, and sales.

The Opportunity:

The Branch Representative supports day to day branch customer facing operations, lubricant & wet stock inventory, inside sales and completing branch administrative tasks.

  • Support office team with customer facing responsibilities. ie. I/B & O/B call handling, front counter customer service, order taking and account payments.
  • Inside sales follow-up, account maintenance and project support.
  • Support Lubricant warehouse inventory management, maintenance, and sales.
  • Month End/Year End Inventory, Preparation and Reporting.
  • All facilities HSE and compliance inspections, maintenance/action items, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Mechanical aptitude and or work experience focused in Petroleum and Propane preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Work well in a team environment and customer facing abilities.
