Job Description

What is the opportunity? The RBC Dominion Securities Management team located in Kingston is looking for a Branch Operations Manager to join their team! The Branch Operations Manager fulfills a leadership role in the branch by providing operational and administrative support to the Branch Management Team and Advisor teams. In addition to managing client account activities and ensuring compliance standards are met, the Branch Operations Manager liaises with internal departments, provides software and process-related training, and manages the branch facilities and equipment.

What will you do?

  1. Implement the Branch Director’s vision and ensure the branch is efficiently and effectively managed.
  2. Manage the daily administrative operations of the branch, including approving transactions, verifying and acting on support staff requests, and approving account openings.
  3. Assist with training new support staff and coordinate ongoing training for existing staff.
  4. Ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
  5. Manage, mentor, and coach sales support staff within the branch.
