Job Overview

A career as a Branch Manager in the Personal Banking team at National Bank involves leading with a service-driven approach for our Red Deer branch. We seek a candidate who understands the needs of business owners and aims to grow the Personal Banking and Cash Management business in alignment with strategic goals. Your Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, mentor, coach, develop, and engage employees, investing in our greatest asset.
  2. Deliver a proactive, personalized, and flawless client experience across all channels.
  3. Utilize resources and opportunities to foster profitable growth across various industries and segments.
  4. Enhance market awareness and build productive relationships within the local business community.
  5. Achieve strong growth in personal deposits and lending products.
  6. Drive profitable growth in client relationships, including banking fees and wealth management assets.
  7. Maintain sound risk management and operational practices, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Team Structure

You will be part of a team of two colleagues within the personal banking sector, reporting to the Senior Manager. The team is known for high-caliber, tailored service, with a focus on work-life balance, as the branch operates on weekdays only, with no weekends.

Basic Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree with 6 years of banking experience, including 5 years of success in sales mentoring and leadership, or a University Certificate with equivalent experience.
  2. Mutual Funds license.
  3. Knowledge of relationship management, client value articulation, sales strategy, risk assessment, and credit analysis.
  4. Experience in delivering exceptional client experiences and building profitable relationships.
  5. Leadership style that fosters engagement, growth, and change.
  6. Ability to collaborate across business lines, including Business Banking and Wealth Management.
