Money Mart is seeking a Branch Manager in Nova Scotia to lead a high‑performing team, drive sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance and strong cash controls. This hands‑on role blends coaching, scheduling, and performance management with community engagement to grow the branch responsibly.

You will oversee daily operations, guide staff development, and maintain regulatory standards, contributing to branch profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management or team leadership experience.
• Experience with interviewing, hiring, and evaluating candidates.
• Sales, retail finance services, lending, or collections experience preferred.
• Track record of achieving sales goals and customer-service results.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer sales experiences and supervise branch transactions.
• Drive branch sales targets, cross-selling, and referrals; manage collections and expenses.
• Promote loans, credit cards, money transfers, and related services per customer needs.
• Explain product features, fees, terms, and options using approved marketing materials.
• Collect and verify customer identification and supporting information for transactions; ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate customer data, loan/credit files, and records across systems.
• Coach staff to meet Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML/ATF requirements.
• Ensure branch safety, cash handling, and adherence to company policies and audits.
