Job summary

Momentum Financial Services Group is seeking a Branch Manager for a Money Mart location in Duncan, BC. You will lead day-to-day branch operations, coach a team, drive sales, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

You will manage cash handling, customer service, and risk controls while maintaining a customer-centric environment that supports local business growth and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business is an asset.
• 1+ years of management or team leadership experience.
• Sales, retail finance services, lending, collections or non-prime financial services experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch sales and customer transactions to meet targets.
• Drive branch performance and manage cross-selling and referrals.
• Explain product features, fees, terms, and renewals to customers.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML, privacy and audit requirements.
• Oversee cash handling, POS operations and daily reconciliation.
• Coach and develop branch staff to deliver customer-focused service.
• Maintain branch appearance and ensure smooth opening/closing procedures.
• Build local community relationships to grow branch and brand presence.
