We are seeking a Branch Manager, Commercial Insurance, to join BrokerLink and work out of our Winnipeg, MB, Kenora, ON, or Thunder Bay, ON office on a permanent full-time basis.

What the role entails:

  • Build and lead a highly engaged team
  • Drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Develop business strategies with management and peers to achieve outperformance
  • Implement and execute plans by leveraging team talents and regional collaboration
  • Promote growth and brand awareness through marketing initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment and staffing of your team
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members, including regular one-on-one meetings and succession planning
  • Build and execute engagement action plans to motivate staff and inform them of company objectives and changes
  • Ensure quality of service meets standards
  • Enhance customer experience through tools and programs
  • Resolve service and sales issues and follow up on escalated client concerns
  • Maintain strong relationships with key insurer partners
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring branch operating and expense budgets

The successful candidate will have:

  • Leadership and management experience in insurance brokerage operations
  • Proven ability to lead engaged teams across multiple locations
  • Experience in a hybrid work environment
  • Understanding of internal and external customer needs
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player and collaborator
  • College or university degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop organizationally beneficial solutions
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed
