Responsibilities

• As Branch Manager, oversee day-to-day operations of the branch and ensure timely delivery of sales and service to customers.
• Oversee and coordinate daily activities and work processes to ensure customer satisfaction and branch profitability.
• Manage branch staff through effective communication, coaching, and teamwork to achieve performance goals.
• Responsible for financial viability by establishing and controlling KPIs for inventory, cylinder control, and route optimization.
• Coordinate and maintain safe work practices and provide product and basic sales training to staff.

Whatyou’lldo:

As a Branch Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensure thetimelydelivery of sales and service to a wide variety of customers in a safe and effective manner and more:

• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities and work processes of the branch to ensureoptimumcustomer satisfaction and branch profitability
• Manage branch staff through effective communication, coaching and team building to achieve superior performance in all key areas, with a particular focus on customer service
• Responsible for the financial viability of the branch byestablishingand controlling key performance measurements with respect to inventory levels, cylinder control, truckroutingand other fixed assets
• Coordinate, implement andmaintainsafe work practices
• Provide product and basic sales training for branch staff to ensure effective customer service.

What it takes:

• Minimum College Diploma or equivalent with experience
• Minimum of 1-2years’ experience in a similar role in an industrial environment
• Strong appreciation for excellence in customer service
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under time pressure
• Computer application knowledge of Word,Exceland SAP
• Experience managing people
• Knowledge of the gas and/orwelding industry(asset)
