Qualifications

Branch Coordinator

The Branch Coordinator is responsible for opening and closing the AGAT facility for daily business operations in Whitehorse, YT.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide equipment sourcing and installation as directed by business needs
  • Provide front counter customer service for clients and prospects
  • Prepare sample container orders for clients
  • Prepare samples for shipping
  • Drop samples at shipping points (a vehicle is available for use)
  • Oversee the environmental condition of the facility/building
  • Ensure that laboratory procedures are adhered to by all personnel
  • Communicate effectively with other locations and managers
  • Other duties as required

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of high school diploma, some post-secondary education is preferred
  • Comfort level in working alone is required
  • Supervisory Experience a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of the Mining industry is considered a strong asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines and strong time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Some lifting and carrying (up to 20kgs)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
