Salary: $75,000-$85,000/yr + 4% commission

Insight Global is looking for a Branch and Business Development Manager to join our client in the industrial manufacturing and distribution industry. This is a full-time, permanent role that will require you to work on-site Monday-Friday in Sarnia, ON. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 4-years of business development experience within a similar industry in the region and be familiar with overall business operations. From an operational standpoint, you'll be leading a small team for fabricating/manufacturing of industrial materials which consists of production, inventory control, logistics and administration. You'll also ensure a safe working environment and compliance within all relevant regulations and company policies. From a business development standpoint, the ideal candidate should have a good understanding and network of industrial clients in the Sarnia area and is expected to drive business through cold calling and active outreach which includes in-person meetings. You'll be monitoring sales and operations performance against targets and implementing action plans to address any gaps.

Must Haves

- A minimum of 4-years' experience within a business development manager role

- Strong understanding of business operations and budgets, expenses and financial performance

- Confidence within active outreach which includes cold calling

- Ideally experience selling to Mechanical Engineers, Maintenance Planners, Piping Engineers and Engineering companies

- Previous experience with inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and managing the dispatch and shipping departments

- Familiarity of safety regulations and compliance requirements
