Hansen Industries Ltd. is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the afternoon shift to support our Richmond, BC facility. The role involves operating brake presses, reading drawings, setting up tools, bending parts, and maintaining production quality.

The ideal candidate has over 1 year of experience with Amada or Trumpf machines, is mechanically inclined, and can communicate clearly in English in a fast-paced environment. Dental, extended health, RRSPs, and social activities are offered.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of experience setting up and running Amada or Trumpf machines.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on operator.
• Clear written and spoken English to train others.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

The person(s) we are looking to hire will work as BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR for our afternoon shift.

The hours are from 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Thursday. There is no transit available from 12am. MUST DRIVE.

This is what the Key Responsibilities are:

• Read, analyze and interpret drawings.
• Select, load and install tools.
• Bend parts as directed.
• Machine set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of machine.
• Attention to detail.
• Help in other areas.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

What Qualifications & requirements you need?

• Over 1 year of experience of set up and running Amada or Trumpf machines.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Clear written and spoken English to train.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
