Brain Development Technician (Therapy/Education Assistant)

About Us:
FB Education Services is an Alberta Education-accredited early childhood services provider offering early intervention programs for children in Calgary and Strathmore.

The Opportunity:
Join our team as a Brain Development Technician, supporting children receiving Program Unit Funding (PUF) and Mild/Moderate (M/M) funding. Work alongside therapists and educators to implement individualized intervention plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement personalized intervention plans.
  • Monitor and document children's progress.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to adapt materials.
  • Attend team meetings and professional development.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience and/or education in child development or behavior.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Recent police clearance and Child Intervention Record Check.
  • First Aid & CPR (preferred).
  • Active role requiring occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs) and movement.
  • Exposure to noisy/disruptive behavior and childhood illnesses.
