Job summary

Abbotsford Canucks are seeking energetic Box Office Attendants to join our team for events-based, part-time work at Rogers Forum. You will be the first point of contact for fans, handling sales, service, and ticket inquiries across in-person, phone, and email channels.

Typical shifts start around 5:00pm and require lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for long periods, and thriving in a fast-paced environment while delivering a first-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:00pm.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time.
• Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing sales and service functions at Box Office and ticket windows to external and internal clients, offering an exceptional and individualized customer experience
• Receiving and distributing tickets under ‘will call’, premium tickets, and special programs (e.g., Family Packs, Holiday Packs, etc.)
• Answering general ticketing and building inquiries at window, over telephone, and email
• Solving ticketing issues that arise from external customers or from internal bookings (e.g., AHL, promoters, staff, etc.) in a timely manner
• Other duties as required

POSITION SUMMARY:

Box Office Attendants play an integral role as the first point of contact with our fans at the Box Office, whether that be in person, over the phone or on email. They perform sales and service functions at the Box Office and assist our fans with ticketing inquiries. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes

• Performing sales and service functions at Box Office and ticket windows to external and internal clients, offering an exceptional and individualized customer experience


• Receiving and distributing tickets under ‘will call’, premium tickets, and special programs (e.g., Family Packs, Holiday Packs, etc.)


• Answering general ticketing and building inquiries at window, over telephone, and email


• Solving ticketing issues that arise from external customers or from internal bookings (e.g., AHL, promoters, staff, etc.) in a timely manner


• Other duties as required
