CMHA Lower Mainland is seeking a Bounce Back – Punjabi Community Coach to deliver structured, phone-based coaching for individuals with mild to moderate depression and anxiety. The role supports Punjabi and English-speaking clients within a hybrid in-office/remote setup.
The successful candidate will hold a health/social services degree, have 2+ years in related work, and be capable of building rapport, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with partners.

You are comfortable guiding individuals through a structured program while maintaining a client-centered and strength-based approach. In addition, you thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You are highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities. You are motivated by making meaningful impact in your community and are committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

Reporting to the Bounce Back, Team Lead, a Bounce BackCoach works on behalf of the Bounce Back: Reclaim Your Health skill-building program designed to help youth 13+ and adults experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression (with or without anxiety). The role of the coach is to teach new skills, to help clients stay motivated, to answer questions, and to monitor progress. Bounce Back coaches are not therapists; they are trained in the delivery of a specific program known to be effective in relieving mild to moderate depression and are overseen by psychologists. The Punjabi Community Coach will provide the service to both Punjabi and Englishspeaking clients.

CMHA Lower Mainland offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support employee wellbeing, financial security, and work life balance. This position is classified at Grid 34with an hourly salary range of $33.48 to $35.31 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and participation in the Municipal Pension Plan.
Approved work-related mileage is reimbursed in accordance with the organization’s internal expense reimbursement policy.
The role starts with three weeks (16 days)of paid vacation in the first year, with additional vacation accrued based on length of service. The position also includes statutory holidays and access to additional leave provisions in accordance with the collective agreement and CMHA Lower Mainland’s included employee policies, supporting rest, balance, and wellbeing.
