Job summary

Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation is seeking two temporary on-call Production Line Workers to support the Bottling Department in St. John’s, NL. The roles involve operating on the bottling line, feeding equipment, and ensuring product quality during production.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, be 19 or older, and have at least one year of production experience. Physical capability testing and OH&S knowledge are required, with a focus on safety and accuracy in daily

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform duties; physical capability testing may be required.
• Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
• At least one year of experience in production operation.
• Knowledge of applicable Occupational Health and Safety regulations, laws and codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line during bottling to meet specified volumes and quality.
• Feed the production line, operate case sealer and coding units, and adjust filling machines as needed.
• Inspect bottles for quality and line movement.
• Receive raw materials, record quantities and withdraw samples for inspection.
• Move stock, palletize packages and maintain clean production line and area.
• Contribute to record keeping for quality, materials used and product yielded.
• Support safety initiatives and participate in training and task rotations.
