What you will be doing :

  • Provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues
  • Assist guests with beverage menu items in an informative manner
  • Mix drinks and manage beverage stock according to guidelines
  • Be knowledgeable of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, and preparation methods
  • Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include :

  • Previous mixology experience including cocktail creation
  • BC Serving It Right Certificate required
  • High-volume luxury food & beverage bartending experience preferred, especially in AAA/CAA 4-5 Diamond or Forbes 5 Star hotels
  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality/Tourism is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of beverage products
  • Point of Sale system experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and attentive to guest needs
  • Responsible, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
