• Responsibilities include:
• Providing professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues
• Supporting the Bar team with side duties, resetting work areas, running food orders, and taking food/beverage orders at the bar
• Assisting guests with beverage menu items in an informative and helpful manner
• Mixing drinks and managing beverage stock according to guidelines
• Having full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
• Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant/bar environment is an asset
• BC Serving It Right Certificate is required
• High-volume luxury food & beverage bartending experience, especially in a 4-5 Diamond AAA/CAA or Forbes 5 Star hotel, is an asset
• Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality or Tourism is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of beverage products
• Experience with Point of Sale systems is an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
