The Booster Juice Team Member will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, complete daily reports, and uphold high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service to every guest.
- Greet customers promptly and create a positive first impression.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, allergens, and promotions.
- Recommend menu items and upsell products when appropriate.
- Prepare smoothies, fresh juices, and food items according to Booster Juice recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all products are prepared consistently, accurately, and presented professionally.
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
- Wash, sanitize, and maintain all equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Keep the front counter, dining area, beverage station, and washrooms clean and organized.
- Sweep, mop, sanitize floors, and complete daily cleaning tasks.
- Restock ingredients, cups, lids, napkins, and other supplies throughout each shift.
- Rotate stock using the First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory method.
- Receive, organize, and store deliveries properly.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or product shortages to management.
- Handle cash, debit, credit, gift card, and mobile payment transactions accurately.
- Balance the cash drawer and follow all cash-handling procedures.
- Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, and workplace hazards promptly.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the store.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support coworkers and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
- Wear the required uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
- Treat customers and coworkers with respect and professionalism.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints courteously and elevate issues when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions and continuously improve product and service knowledge.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications
- Food Service Certificate as needed.
- Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
